About
Does your site just cover MMO games?
No we don’t just cover MMO games. If you take three seconds and look at our front page you would have figured that out.
So why call yourself MMOMFG?
Partially as a joke to all the MMO sites out there. MMO-this, MMO-that, we thought it would be a fun amalgamation of words. While we are all fans of MMO games, we cover a wide variety of genres. We’d like to think that we’re more of the OMFG side of things.
About MMOMFG
The staff at MMOMFG is a collection of friends and gamers scattered across the U.S. Each of the writers have been playing games for over twenty years and still have yet to kick the habit. Not often will a site have such a diverse group of gamers ranging from the “multi-night raider” hard-core gamer to the uber-casual “every other week or so” gamer. The contrast in styles and gaming experience will add to the various sections of MMOMFG. The site will cover every aspect of video games, not solely focusing on one general genre. One day you may see a feature on MMOs and the next on the latest sports title. Similar to our audience, our tastes are varied, yet quite palpable.
Each member will utilize their expertise in gaming to deliver news, previews, reviews, rants and feature articles for your reading pleasure. Not everyone sees eye to eye on games and genres, but one thing we can agree on is that gaming will always be a part of our lives.
Join in on the discussion with us or start one yourself. MMOMFG is a community for like minded gamers, and whether you’re agreeing with us or adamantly hating what we write, keep reading on. Welcome to your new homepage.
About our Reviews
Since our reviews at MMOMFG go against the norm (i.e. not boring) we thought we’d take a moment to explain.
Ever wonder what the difference between an 8.2 and an 8.3? How about a score of 75% over a score of 80%? What dictates a tenth of a percentile from one day to the next? With all these numbers and decimal points being thrown around gamers end up arguing over the score rather than understanding what the reviewer intended. We think numbers are bad, math is bad, and it tramples on our freedom of speech!
Here at MMOMFG we aim to tell you what matters the most.
- Is the game good?
- Is it worth your money?
- Should you beat up your best friend and steal his copy?
- Would we sell our first born/wife/butler to get five minutes alone with a copy?
There will be no numbered scores in our reviews and instead we will focus purely on the good and the bad in such a creative matter your eyes will yearn for more! You’ll notice that our reviews come from the heart and are dear to us like BBQ ribs and aren’t weighted by mere mortal standards.

A few review examples might be.
· NPM – (Nearly Peed Myself) games like Resident Evil and Deadspace might grab such a reward
· IDPBG – (I don’t play bad games) self explanatory I should hope
· TLSB – (Taste like skunk beer) Games you’ll play and maybe even beat, just because it’s there because you have no money to go out and buy a better one.
We hope you enjoy our methods of madness and look forward to serving you with fresh ideas and stale skittles.
