The Witcher 2 finally finds a release date on the Xbox 360
The newest cinematic from CD Projekt Red for The Witcher 2 looks as glorious as ever, and it’s possibly the first time in history that PC players can grow a little envious over console players. It premiered live over their conference from their Facebook page that they promised us not so long ago. And every promise was landed and then some. The game will finally be landing (with bonus items for Dark Edition) April 17th.
Senior Writer from CD Projekt Red went on to tout how much this game won’t be a port and he showed enough to completely convince us. Not only will it come with impressive physical additives, but it looks great and it’ll have 33 minutes of new cinematics. “We daresay this is the richest base edition of an Xbox 360 game ever.” They’re not lying about that though. At the standard $60 price, you get the OST, quest handbook, and a map of the actual world. In the Dark edition which costs $80, you get previously mentionables, a giant art book, making-of DVDs, decals, and “bling” (their words) otherwise known as Geralt of Rivia’s medallion.
