Half-Life fans petition Half-Life 3 on Steam

Let’s face it, Half-life 2 ended in a nasty cliffhanger, and that was about 5 years ago (the writer of this post feels incredibly old at this instance).Ever since 2007 there haven’t been much development in the Half-Life series , that is unless you consider Portal and Portal 2 which granted no solution for Half-Life’s dramatic ending. So in order to get some gears into moving, a group of fans have assembled on Steam asking for Valve to kindly consider Half-Life 3′s production.

According to Beef-Jack, the group is sincere and polite, asking Valve to kindly acknowledge them when it comes to the question of why new Half-Life material failed to actually see the light of day when it was supposed to.

 The group was created about three weeks ago, and already has 10,000 members. No telling where this will go, but hey, it’s nice to see some devoted fans for a series that hasn’t seen a whole lot of love lately.
