Keep playing StarCraft II while sitting on the can with StarCraft 2 Gameboard

Do you play StarCraft II 24/7? Then there is an upcoming app for your iPhone/iTouch/iPad called Starcraft 2 Gameboard that you should keep on the lookout for. It will allow you to use your iPhone/iTouch/iPad as an additional controller for when you are not sitting at your computer screen.

This could be vital in some situations, such as when your parents yell at you to take out the garbage but you are in the middle of a serious game and you can’t afford to step away. Just take your iPhone with you and keep on playing. Or when an emergency hits and you absolutely need to run to the toilet, just take your iPad with you so you can keep building up your troops. What if someone can make the same thing for WoW when you need to run to the toilet during a raid?

Okay, enough with the situational examples and more about what it is. The developers claim that it is not a hack or mod and definitely not a cheat as it is only a remote control that allows for “an easier way to control in game functions.” The app will be available sometime mid September, and that’s if Blizzard doesn’t find some reason to try and shut it down first.
