Look at these Portal 2 screens and watch the Co-op preview video forty times
Here we have two things, several incomprehensible images from Portal 2 and the shortest conceivable look at the co-op mode one can imagine. The images depict a few things we’ve seen, namely the blue goo imbued with the power of making you bounce in really awesome ways, and said blue goo covering everyone’s favorite automated death machines with eerily sweet voices. The other images are of a variety of gorgeously rendered industrial death-scapes I can’t wait to fling myself through. Check them out for yourself and try and make sense of them in between ogling and pretending you aren’t excited.
We’ve also got about a minute of co-op footage showing the two adorable robots we’ll be controlling in the campaign. One of them is inquisitive and one of them bobs rather uncomfortably. It appears Aperture Science preserved Woody Allen in once of those personality spheres. The video shows the what I hope is a painfully basic co-op puzzle finally giving us a precise idea of how the portal mechanic is going to be used in that mode.
