Two new Mortal Kombat characters announced: two more classics

NetherRealm Studios has debuted some old favorites. Kitana and Cyrax are both official for the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot. Cyrax fans will note he is half-cyborg and half-ninja, or all of both, or something. He shoots nets out of his chest and is going to be awesome. Kitana is a queen who chops people up with really sharp fans. Feel free to speculate on their prospective Fatality possibilities. Limbs will be severed and exploded in various fashions. One can only pray they live up to the slicing a man in twain starting at the groin featured in the trailer.

Also featured are a couple old stages made new, Bell Tower and the Desert from Mortal Kombat 3 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Looks like there’s going to be lots of variety come next year. A return to form is just what the long standing leader in fight game gore and brutality needs.
