Grease: The Game may make you hopelessly devoted to your Wii or DS

Back in 1978, one of the most influential American musical films of the past century came out, which has had bad boys snapping their fingers and Pink Ladies falling for greasers head over heels ever since. I’m referring to Grease, the film, which starred a non-fat John Travolta as Danny Zuko, which sparked young love, gang riots and dancing nancies for years to come. However, now in the year 2010, 505 Games are set to release a video game that will no doubt change the lives of female gamers, and gay dudes, all over the world. Fans of the film, fans of gaming and fans of musicals alike can all rejoice while singing “You’re the One That I Want”, “Greased Lightning” and “Hopelessly Devoted to You”.

The game will hit shelves on August 24, so you don’t have much time to work on your singing chops before you get to be front and center at your next Wii party (you know you hipsters have these once a week) and will be forced to belt out the tunes like a modern day Frankie Avalon. Don’t pretend like you’re some tough T-bird, when in actuality you know the entire hand jive. In fact, I learned it in elementary school, but my mom dressed me in tights until I was 26, but that’s beyond the point. All I ask is that you check out the pics below, get ready for a little sing-a-long fun and look out for those Scorpions.
