Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds roster adds two, including Thor

A few days ago one of our very own here at MMOMFG posted an article about Marvel working on a Thor game to coincide with the movie’s release in 2011. Now look at the above screenshot closely, you will find yourself staring at Amaterasu apparently whooping the holiness right out of Thor. I would be smiting him in the game too since I am not at all impressed with his upcoming theatrical movie debut.

Putting that aside the image reveals that the two will be making an appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Those of you who don’t follow these types of things, Thor is from the Marvel’s Avengers team and Amaterasu is from Capcom’s action-adventure game, Okami.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is set to release in sometime Spring 2011.  Until then, all we have are the screenshots to stare at in awe. There is art and new screens including Thor and Amaterasu for your viewing pleasure.
