New Kingdom Hearts is a hybrid, hectic, crossbreed of a game

So the new Japanese trailer for the Kingdom Hearts Coded remake has been let loose on Youtube, and I must say it looks rather spiffy! Intriguing too, as it seems to have introduced something interesting. Refreshing, and somewhat tricky, as it could be loved or it could flop. What’s that? Oh, you want to know what I’m talking about? Get ready for multi-genre gaming, as the makers of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded have thrown all sorts of stuff in there, including retro style gaming, Final Fantasy style fighting, Space Harrier-style shoot ‘em up, and of course, the original Kingdom Hearts gameplay we all know and love. This has all been gathered from the trailer, but who knows what other surprises there might be.

You’ll be seeing all your old favorites and old foes, and hopefully some new ones! The whole game is still shrouded in mystery and darkness, heartless too. I’m going to blow the dust off my DS as soon as this baby hits the shelves.
