Microsoft announces price of Kinect and new Xbox 360 console
Coming straight from the horse’s mouth, Major Nelson spills the beans on what we’ve all been waiting for.
The Kinect will debut for $149.99, the price we’ve all pretty much known and the price we’ve all been fearing. The Kinect does come packaged with Kinect Adventures so those looking to swing their arms around and pretend they’re white water rafting (not me), will be pleased.
Also, in a bit of a surprise, Microsoft announces a new “lite” version of the Xbox Slim which will feature 4GB of internal memory and priced out at $199.99. The console will being shipping August 3rd.
And finally, for those who want both, MS is packaging a bundle that’ll cost you $299.99. The bundle comes with a 4GB Xbox Slim, the Kinect hardware, and Kinect Adventures.
All Kinect titles (Sports, Joyride, Kinectimals) will price out at $49.99 and Microsoft is saying there will be 15 titles at launch. The Kinect will launch November 4th
