Darkspore details emerge, not to be mistaken as Sporecraft

From the creators of Spore, the game everyone uses to create genital life forms and variations for certain past vice-presidential candidates, brings us a fast-paced action RPG named Darkspore. Darkspore will allow players to use their unique creations as their own personal militia as they fend off the Darkspore on their infected planets. The game will provide a number of weapons and armor to improve their chances of surviving the impending destruction.

The developers promise an epic sci-fi story that can be played alone, with friends, or in online arenas. With downloadable content already planned, the game is set to release on PC and Mac February 2011.
