3DS to be popping out in March, maybe

Wow, looking at that title now, it sounds a little dirty, doesn’t it? Well, never mind that. VG247 were informed this morning that Nintendo has told UK publishers that the 3DS we’re all eagerly waiting for will release in Britain next March. Good ole Nintendo has been said to be touring British companies for meetings relating to the small bundle of 3D joy. That’s all the details we have at the moment though.

“That’s rumour and speculation as we’ve not announced any date for 3DS,” said Nintendo UK on the matter this morning. Why is it that the big companies insist on keeping us all in the dark? Surely, they know that we’d love to know the date of release, so we can start saving up our pennies. And so we basement dwellers have something to look forward to!

I don’t know about you, but to me, that seems like EONS away. Nintendo’s official line is that 3DS will launch “in all major markets” before the end of March next year. So we’ve got a while to wait it seems. Yaaawn….
