Pixels & Pinups: The Ultimate Gamer Babe Throwdown – The Somewhat-Normal-Chicks Edition

Are you a fan of hot babes? More specifically, are you a fan of hot gamer babes? If so, then have we got a competition for you! A few months ago, we launched our Pixels & Pinups: The Ultimate Gamer Babe competition and today, it’s time for round 12 of our too hot for TV babe buffet! Here’s how this smoking hot babe-off will play out: Every Friday, the MMOMFG staff (no pun intended) will seek out two hot gamer babes, be them virtual or fleshy, to duel it out battle royale style. And by battle royale, I mean you lucky dudes and dudettes will get to vote for who you think struts their stuff the best! Each week two new hotties will duke it out in the hopes of making it to the December Showdown, where the winner from each week leading up to that point will then compete to determine who is the sauciest tart of 2010!

Last week’s Super Street Fighter clash between Cammy and Chun Li was one for the ages, we move on now to some less powerful females. This week’s battle is one of the normal, non-super powered, but still hot heroines: Dreamfall’s Zoe Castillo vs. Heavy Rain’s Madison Paige.

Video games can be full of roided up protagonists and super-human heroes. What’s with that? What happened to normal people doing extraordinary things? Well a slew of games lately have hearkened back to the golden age when not everyone could project claws from their hands, shoot lasers out of their butts, and grow their fingernails real long real quick. Games like Alan Wake, Heavy Rain, and Dreamfall (released in 2006, but still pretty current) are filling this void, to name just a few. And two of those games just so happen to include some hawt female characters. Enter Dreamfall’s Zoe Castillo and Heavy Rain’s Madison Paige. They’re both hot, and neither of them can move stuff with their mind or fart fire. Sometimes, those are both a plus.

What’s Not

Wake up WAKE UP - Dreamfall begins with Zoe in a coma…and ends with Zoe in a coma. The in between is a flashback narrative of sorts. But the fact remains – it’s hard to have a relationship with a girl in a coma. It’s not hard to have sex with a girl in a coma, but that’s just beyond wrong. Feeling kinda guilty for even bringing it up, actually.

What’s Hot

Who needs pants anyways? - If you’ve played Heavy Rain, you know Madison pretty well. Intimately well, even. And by that I mean naked. It’s no secret that she disrobes in the game, and she also can be found strutting around her house in a little more than the bare essentials. Who doesn’t want their significant other to be comfortable enough to regularly prance around the house like that?

What’s Not

“No way to delay, that trouble comin any day” - Madison attracts trouble, at least in Heavy Rain she does. It’s not small time stuff like owing bookies money or owing favors to the mob, either. It’s the serial killer kind of trouble! That’s not an environment many dudes want to be around. Also, this gives me an excuse to use a Frank Zappa lyric.

The Verdict

Both of these pixelated beauties are sexy and can kick a little butt in their own rights, but most importantly they are normal women. No super powers, no unnaturally huge body features, none of that hullabaloo. This one comes down to personal preference in the end. I gotta go with my taste buds and say that Zoe takes it. I like women as spicy as I like my tacos de carne asada con queso, salsa verde, y cal.
