Street Fighter IV creator teases about new project

Tekken 6, Super Street Fighter IV and Melty Blood players spilled blood, sweat and tears this weekend at the EVO tournament in Las Vegas. Not just any players either. We’re talking about the cream of the crop. But that’s not the point of this news post. Street Fighter IV’s creator shamelessly teased about the unveiling of his newest project.

Yoshinori Ono has been teasing the project for months, but came teeth grindingly close to revealing all just before the tournament’s Super Street Fighter IV finals. Can you imagine how you’d feel if you were about to fight, and then that happens? Ono implied that the game will be officially revealed at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con gathering, where publisher Capcom typically has a strong presence.

Will it be a fighting game, or something completely unexpected? The anticipation is almost killing me!
