Final Fantasy XIV creeping closer

If you’re one of the lucky ones who’s been invited to test drive the MMORPG, you’re probably checking your inbox every ten minutes right? Looking for that e-mail that’ll point you to the page that will allow you to download the client? Yeeah, I know what you’re doing.

The final version of Final Fantasy 14 will hit retail on September 30 in regular and more expensive ‘early access’ versions. I can’t wait for this Final Fantasy. It’s almost as exciting as Versus. Almost… I just hope that it’s better than XIII. But I digress.

If you’re one of the people who are going to test drive the client, let us know how it is! I’m dying to find out!

I absolutly cannot wait for this. I am spending around 200 bucks to get a graphic card and processer that can easily run the game. I already got 1TB of hard drive space and 6GB’s of RAM so i know i am good there. I just cant wait to march to get it for ps3 i need it in september lol. Will still get for ps3 though and have both versions :) On the game though it looks amazing. graphics are OMG quality for an MMORPG. My friend got invited to test and he let me play at his house for a very very brief time as in all i got to do was run around the OPEN(haha ff13) area and killed 3 monsters. Thats all i got to do and i was a human gladiator. The battling was a bit slow at the time but from what i seen in the e3 video’s its picked up the pace and looks a great deal faster/smoother/better, and n top of that the already amazing graphics are also more refined so i would like to try it again now and test the improvments myself. Also they got nobuo uematsu doing the score so expect amazing music to play to:) They put a great deal more time and effort into creating this title than they did for 13, and it really shows and i cant wait to see/ play the final product. It does not matter if your a casual, hardcore, solo, or partying type you can have fun in this MMORPG and that’s a very important aspect this game has going for it. Anyone who truly appreciates MMORPG’S( i know a few ppl who cant stand them) would be wise to get this one as its unique and def not some WOW clone like 95% of every other mmo’s out there are today. They did what the WOW team did by creating their own user friendly systems that are original, accessible and easy to understand, and play(casual players) but difficult to fully master(hardcore players) and, i bet you many other mmo dev’s will try to copy what this accomplished in the future just like they did with WOW. The only thing that will make this game complete is if and when they finally announce/confirm PVP. I myself don’t give a shit about PVP but a lot of mmo gamers do and if they want the whole lot playing their game their gonna need PVP integrated into the game and make it work well and make it fun, and not unbalanced and crappy. Sorry for wall of text but wanted to say what i had to say all at once.

No worries man. Glad you’re excited. Did you try to use the tech demo that test your system’s capabilities?

No prolly should though huh. I mean as far as the game goes i know my pc will be ready to run it when it hits. I read the specs for the game and am going to make sure i am a step or more above in every area. Like the recomended RAM i think was 1GB and at the time of reading that i had 3GB’S but have since upgraded to 6GB’s lol. I plan to do the same with every other area in the requirements once i got my money prepared. I like overkill wanna make sure my PC runs it super smooth. I know that sound’s crazy, but i get obssesive compulsive over shit like this i always go way above and beyond when i really want something. Have you had a chance to use the tech demo, and if so where could i find it??
