Lebron James sweepstakes pictured in NBA2K10

Assuming you don’t live in a cave without any TV or Internet access, you have heard something about Lebron James and the NBA free agency. I can’t even begin guessing on where Lebron will end up, but Owen over at Kotaku has taken the time with NBA 2K10 to show us what Lebron would look like if he remained with the Cavaliers, or signed with the Knicks, Nets, Bulls, Heat, or Clippers.

No matter what, whatever team Lebron decides to sign with, you can always place him on your favorite team’s roster in NBA 2K10 or any of the other games in the franchise. But in all seriousness, whatever team he does end up on, he will win a championship in the next 5 years. One of the other big free agents will also sign with him and from there it will only be history. Float or sink, it will be history. Lebron James just doesn’t want to be like a Dan Marino (I know, different sport), he wants to be more like a Bill Russell, although it may be impossible for any player ever again to win 11 championships.

Based on the Knicks slideshow presentation for Lebron (which I might add looks fake) that was leaked to Forbes, if he wants to be a billion dollar man, he has to come to New York. Crazy that he won’t even make half as much anywhere else, if these numbers are true. That would hold true for him to play for the Brooklyn Nets as well right? I hope Jay Z can woo Lebron to New York, even if he’s playing for the Nets.
