A blast from the past, Final Fantasy V and VI to be released for the 3DS?

Before you get too excited, nothing has been confirmed yet. BUT! Siliconera has had a little talk with Shinji Hashimoto at E3, and he had something interesting to say. *Clears throat.*
“No decision has been made,” he said. But then he added “Rather than creating Final Fantasy V or VI for the current DS we want to take a look to see how 3DS does, how it evolves, and then make a decision.”
That sounds promising. I’ll have to pray to the Final Fantasy Gods vigorously. I would love to add FFV and FFVI to my growing collection of Final Fantasy portable titles. If they were available in 3D, that would only be the icing on the cake.
