You’ll never guess the Metro 2033 sequel name announced by THQ

Did you guess Metro 2034? Damn! Okay, well then I guess you’re just smarter than the average gamer. Either way, THQ’s Danny Bilson revealed the sequel when talking to CVG by stating “We’re going to be doing a 3D version of that on Metro 2034 – the sequel. And there will be some engineering costs there, but that’s in our lowest cost centre in the world.”

With the first game practically coming out of nowhere, our editor Jeremy was nearly str8 JOing to the announcement of the Metro 2033, due to his high interest in the Russian novel. I personally never got my hands on a copy, but based on his review, it had its ups and downs, but was a decent FPS. This second time around, THQ will likely have bigger plans for the post-apocalyptic adventure. My hopes? More rats and zombie turtles. I like turtles.

Keep checking back here for further details on what is sure to be another solid FPS in the works.
