Meet Wheatley, Valve’s carry-along comedian for Portal 2

Valve released part 1 of 7 of their trailers that were demoed at E3 for Portal 2 introducing us all to a new character, as well as reintroducing an old one. Part 1 immediately introduces us to a character named Wheatley, a Personality Sphere. He will definitely be bringing some comedy to the game, which is much needed to ease the stress of some of the more difficult puzzles.

Wheatley is a rascal and will likely test your patience and your funny bone throughout. Oh and don’t trust him to hack a password, he’ll just enter “A-A-A-A-A-A” and then mutter a swear word when it doesn’t work. I can’t do justice to some of his jokes, so check out the trailer below and see some gameplay footage for yourself.
