Dead Rising 2 set to launch in September

We no longer have to guess the release date for Dead Rising 2. Capcom announced in the wee hours of the morning that Dead Rising 2 will be hitting store shelves September 28th in the US. Perfect timing as my birthday is a few days prior. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by strapping a couple of chainsaws together with ducktape and going to town on some undead.

Set in Fortune City, Dead Rising 2 features a new hero, Chuck Greene, who must battle his way through hordes of zombies. The premise might not be a Stephen King novel but then again, who cares? With the new coop mode added, I’ll happily see you all online as Dead Rising 2 is looking to surpass its million dollar predecessor.
