Get ready to play keyboard with Rock Band 3

It’s official and brought to us by our friends at USA Today, who have given us an insider trailer featuring the latest installment of the Rock Band series. This won’t just be another rocker-related game either. Rock Band 3 is getting some majorly rad improvements. First to note are the instruments, Rock Band will be selling a guitar specifically suited for the game’s Pro mode (the mode that might possibly teach real life technique), on top of that it’s an actual Fender guitar! Unfortunately no price as of yet.

The next instrument might even make Ozzy a bit jealous, Rock Band will be adding a 25 keyed keyboard into the system. This keyboard will be fully functional and have the ability to sync with the music precisely.

With new songs, enhanced gaming, new instruments, and the new pro mode, it looks as though Rock Band 3 will try to bring the genre back into your living room.
