Max Payne 3 hitlisted for being delayed again
This is going to be a ball-buster for all you Max Payne fans out there, because the third installment has been crippled with yet another delay. Max Payne 3 was originally thought to be released in Winter 2009, before it hit its first delay, later claiming to be out between August 1st and October 31st, 2010. There were rumors of another possible delay that turned out to be true, but are the whispers of poor working conditions at the studio really the culprit?
Take-Two CEO, Ben Feder, gave this explanation in a recent conference call, “While we do not take the movement of any title lightly, our recent success with Red Dead Redemption illustrates the importance and the benefits of giving a title the time that it needs in order to fulfill its potential in the market place. The team at Rockstar is focused on making this the best possible experience in interactive entertainment.“
I got bored of reading what Mr. Feder had to say, and came to my own conclusion that he was making up blatant excuses of why the game has been stalled so many times. He also forgot to mention that the company hasn’t announced a new release window, so when the new game will be out is a complete mystery. Place your bets, people, because it’s anyone’s guess! At least you can’t delay a game again if it doesn’t have a release time frame.
