Roll Back the Tide with NCAA Football 11 Demo in June?

NCAA Football 11 UT-OSU

As a previously announced University of Texas fan, I have my fingers crossed that this year’s NCAA Football 11 demo will feature the National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide facing the Texas Longhorns. The above picture obviously shows the Buck Eyes, but I wanted to spare myself having to post screens featuring Alabama running over Texas. I would love to exact my revenge, since Colt McCoy’s college career came to a sad end abruptly during his first drive. Would Texas have won the National Championship had Colt played the entire game? No one will ever know. What I do know is that the NCAA demo will hit Xbox Live on June 14 for 360 users and hit PlayStation Network for you PS3ers on June 15.

With the World Cup kicking off on June 11, you’re going to have so much football that week, your brain may get bent like Beckham or Shaud Williams. Either way, it will be a great week for football for the Americans. I’ll report back once the two teams featured in the demo are reported, but let’s just assume for now that Texas and Alabama will be featured, as history has shown that the two previous National Championship teams are typically featured in the demo the following season. Hook ‘Em, Horns!
