World of Warcraft Mobile Auction House in Beta, try it out today
The mobile auction house for World of Warcraft is finally here, widely seen at your closest iphone/ipad/itouch. It is still in the beta phase, but it has been added to the mobile armory application and for now it allows players to browse their server’s auction house, view their own gold, get notifications if they were outbid or auctions sold, as well as view all of your items that are sellable. It is also available on the Armory website.
That’s a mighty powerful tool right there, and it will get better soon, with a subscription of $2.99 a month you can actually buy and sell on the auction house as well as access the mailbox to retrieve your gold and expired or purchased items. One would assume that since the game already requires a subscription that this would be a free bonus, but it looks like it’s going to go more along the lines of a vanity pet. None the less, I bet it will be overly popular. I’m happy as it is with the free version, so I can find out whenever there are Flame Caps on my server’s AH which are extremely rare, but necessary for a demo/destruc warlock.
