Get your swing on with the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 demo now

Hey golf fans, do you like to walk tall and carry a big stick? Preferably a wood with a long shaft? Then you’re in luck! Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 demo has hit the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network servers free for your enjoyment. Lucky you, right? Players can now compete in a fully customizable Ryder Cup match, featuring three holes on Celtic Manor Resort, the home of the Ryder Cup tournament. The demo will allow gamers to invite their friends to matches, private sessions and link up for chatting, all which provide Experience Points (XP) to boost your player’s stats and skills upon the game’s final release. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 will hit shelves in North America on June 8th and worldwide July 2nd.

The demo also allows play on the new Liberty National course, featuring three playable holes. In addition, the new Shot Focus system will ensure players are nailing the perfect fairway bombs or chipping right into the perfect green lie. The Shot Focus will provide putt previews, increased spin during flight, better accuracy and plenty more. Finally, the player will have total control, as the True Aim mode will provide the most immersive golfing experience, replacing traditional measuring methods and putting the decision of clubs, length and position in the hands of the golfer.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and iPhone. The demo, however, will only be for the Xbox 360 and PS3, so you iPhoners will have to wait like scruds.
