Rumored Pay for Premium Services on PSN
What I am about to say is only a rumor, so keep that in mind, but it isn’t a bad idea either. According to a source within Sony via VG247, during the E3 in June Sony plans on revealing a premium service of their PSN. The premium service will cost less than £50, approximately $75 a year and will not gimp any of the previous services provided by the normal PSN. Part of being a subscribing member, you will get treated to anywhere from one to four free PSN games a month.
While the premium service might be more expensive then a gold membership on Xbox LIVE, it will be worth it with the free PSN games. The source also mentions that cross-game chat will not be a paid feature and that everyone on the PSN should be able to use it. We have a little less than a month for the official announcements during E3 where Sony will also reveal their motion sensor controller Move. Here at MMOMFG we want to know what your opinions are on a premium service for PSN? Would you pay for it?
