Wallet down! Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack DLC to strike in June

Been getting tired of those expensive maps you recently purchased for Modern Warfare 2? Well rest your weary little heads, my friends, as Infinity Ward will be dropping five more maps on your plate in the form of the Resurgence Pack coming June 3 for Xbox Live. The name isn’t quite as fun as the Stimulus Pack, but beggars can’t be choosers, unless they choose to be beggars, in which they’re then allowed to beg. Are you still following me? Activision also has multiple Double XP weekends planned, leading up to the DLC to coincide with its release; the first being May 28 and the second slated for June 4.

There have not been details released on the price or which five maps will be included, but if I were a betting man, and I am (once bet against the Harlem Globetrotters; huge mistake), then I’d say you’re looking at about $15 again. Small price to price for five maps. Oh wait, no it isn’t… Keep checking back at MMOMFG for further news on the upcoming DLC. Our expectation is the Resurgence Pack will likely hit for PC and PS3 users roughly a month later.
