Red Dead Redemption goes clubbing this afternoon, new screens now

Later this afternoon, Rockstar Games will lift the veil on Red Dead Redemption’s version of the Rockstar Games Social Club. A social networking platform of sorts for Rockstar games, the service may be best known for providing Grand Theft Auto IV players with data around everything they ever did in Liberty City. The important stuff, you know, like how fast you completed the game and where your crimes were committed.

Rockstar will be detailing the features for Red Dead’s version of the Social Club later today, and we assume there will be a lot of them. Just based on the myriad of data points tracked for GTA IV, Red Dead’s social side will likely be similarly loaded out.

While we wait for these details, Rockstar has been kind enough to tide us over with a hot new batch of screenshots in which we see Marston using the Dead Eye technique, firing from his horse, and reading a note. Key takeaway: our protagonist is literate.
