Get your Ezio bro hugs in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood

Ubisoft has given us some new details on the journeys of Ezio, the legendary Master Assassin in the third game of the Assassin’s Creed series: Brotherhood. Ezio will have to adventure into Rome, Italy, the “center of power, greed, and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy.” There will be over 15 hours of single-player gameplay, all taking place within Rome.

The biggest addition to Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood are the multiple new multiplayer modes, in which there are many character classes each with their own unique weapons and special finishing moves. Not much else has been detailed for the multiplayer modes yet, but E3 should bring around information on them. Dustin will be on location, so expect to get the skinny here at MMOMFG firsthand.

As part of being a Master Assassin, it will be Ezio’s job to recruit and train new members into the Brotherhood and then to deploy them across the city or to call them for help during quests. Real historical characters will also be brought back to life such as Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli, and Caterina Sforza to aid you during your journeys through Rome while battling the Templar Order. In order to rally the citizens of Rome, you will be able to spend your hard earned money to rebuild the city, which will further unlock extra factions and missions. Another new feature being added are the secret weapons such as poison darts, parachutes, double hidden blades, hidden guns, and as well as an advanced flying machine. Working with Leonardo da Vinci must really pay off. No exact release date has been set yet, but it is expected to be launched this 2010 holiday season. Make sure to put it on your Santa’s wish list.
