Call of Duty Black Ops to feature 4 player Co-op

It was revealed today by USA Today (of all places) that the next Call of Duty, officially named Call of Duty: Black Ops, will feature the coveted cooperative mode. Even though Modern Warfare featured the Spec Ops coop mode, that was a more intimate two player experience. Black Ops, on the other hand, will feature up to four players fighting in the trenches.

No word  on whether this cooperative mode will be a jump in, jump out (a la Halo) or if this coop mode will be totally different from the single player campaign. My guess is that this will be tact onto the single player campaign.
