LittleBigNews leakage begins for LittleBigPlanet 2 prior to E3

While an announcement for a sequel to one of the most original, creative, and girlfriend friendly (very important!) games is expected next month both in GameInformer and at E3, details are already being leaked about things to come. This fun LittleBig side-scrolling platform game has spent many an hour in my PS3, and the new elements rumored to be incorporated into the follow up game seek only to add to the strangely addictive powers of the Sackboy.

If early details prove to be true, “Media Molecule is creating new tools that will enable players to create racing games, puzzle games, ‘Space Invaders clones,’ role-playing games and even real-time strategy games.” The first installment of Sackboy land thrived on its ability to provide creative freedom to its users, and LittleBigPlanet 2 looks to take great strides in this area.
