Blur Beta to Receive Final Update Prior to Checkered Flag
Those of you who have participated in the Blur Beta have been so helpful that Activision and Bizarre Creations are giving you one final update before the beta closes May 10th at 2am PST. All of you who are hooked on the the powered-up racing scheme behind Blur will have noticed that the update hit earlier yesterday, but were you wondering what it’s all about? Ask an you shall receive, updates include:
The ability to play A-Class cars in standard playlists
An expanded Supercar Racing Playlist that include races in Tokyo and Amboy
Power-Ups now shuffle so each race has different Power-Up placement
Players can earn double the amount of fans for each race, allowing players to quickly reach Rank-15 and experience the full Beta demo experience
The full game hits later this month, May 25th for NA, and May 28th for the fancy pants European crowd. According to a recent press release, the beta demo had over one million downloads making it one of the most successful multiplayer online beta demos to date. We are certainly excited for this flashy racer, and its good to see that many of you are as well.
