First Alan Wake DLC is on the house; official flashlight is not

Alan Wake Flashlight

Alan Wake’s release is right around the corner; May 18 to be exact. With so much hype over titles being released that day, Alan Wake, Red Dead Redemption, Split/Second and Prince of Persia, Remedy Entertainment has taken the next step to separate itself from the pack. Each new copy of Alan Wake will provide a token for the first piece of DLC to be free when it is available later in 2010. If you’ve pre-ordered the game, you’re probably dancing in the streets. If you were planning to wait and get a copy used, then you probably just F’d in your pants.

In addition to the great news about the free DLC, Remedy would like to invite you to check out their store, which now offers the not-so-free official Alan Wake flashlight. If you can’t find your way in the dark, drop $45 on this bad boy and find your way around with ease. Remedy also offers an assortment of other items like hoodies, shirts and more, so if you’ve got the AW itch, go get you some!
