Left 4 Dead 2: The Passing Free for PC, Not Free for 360

As promised, we are bringing you an update in regards to the release of the first DLC, “The Passing,” from Valve and Left 4 Dead 2. The much anticipated DLC will bring the original zombie wrecking crew from L4D1 and will include new single-player, multiplayer, and co-op gameplay.

Not enough? Then, get ready to expand your zombie slaying résumé with the all new weekly game modes appropriately named “Mutations.” The weeklong gameplay mode will provide a variety of fun and bloodied game options including one dubbed “Chainsaw Massacre” where all players receive chainsaws with an unlimited supply of hacking fuel. Looks like things are about to get extra sloppy.

Annnnd, that’s not all. Prepare yourselves for a fresh co-op mode of play, support for infected bot play in Versus, an “uncommon common” zombie class (the fallen survivor), a cutting edge, top of the line melee weapon (golf club), and a quintessential M-60.

This newly infected content will be available on Xbox 360 for 560 Microsoft Points and PC for FREE (turds!!!). It’s going to be an excellent Thirsty Thursday. Grab a six-pack and your favorite 9-iron, it’s almost time to slay some Zombie biddies!
