EA Sports MMA highlights Strikeforce event in latest trailer
For anyone who is a huge fan of smashing heads, kicking ass and potentially biting ears, EA Sports have released another trailer today highlighting an upcoming Strikeforce MMA event in Nashville. The trailer, courtesy of G4 TV, displays the upcoming event lineup, or card, and offers a number of the contenders entrances, grappling styles for each mixed martial arts technique and high impact gameplay for each fighter. As the question continues to rise of who will be the king of the ring, or octagon, this year, EA once again delivers the goods in terms of media content to amp gamers up for the late 2010 release.
EA Sports MMA will feature real time fluid during fights. Calm down, grossy! I’m referring to real time blood and sweat during the fights, so they aren’t just gimmicky things that appear during a match and stay static the rest of the fight once a cut is opened. The actual liquids will flow with the fight and continue unless healed by your staff between rounds. A cut can easily be re-opened and depending on the amount of blood in the eyes or nose, could determine a fight being halted mid match. This was highlighted in a gallery on Kotaku over the weekend. Which MMA title are you picking up this year? UFC: Undisputed 2010 or EA Sports MMA? I can certainly tell you one name sounds better, in my opinion. Dana White would be so happy with me!
