Pixels & Pinups: The Ultimate Gamer Babe Throwdown Introduction

Are you a fan of hot babes? More specifically are you a fan of hot gamer babes? If so, then have we got a competition for you! MMOMFG is proud to announce a series of original content that will start streaming next week, but we are so excited, that we are launching our official Pixels & Pinups: The Ultimate Gamer Babe competition starting today. Here’s how this smoking hot babe off will play out: Every Friday the MMOMFG staff (no pun intended) will seek out two hot gamer babes, be them virtual or fleshy, to duel it out battle royale style. And by battle royale, I mean you lucky dudes and dudettes will get to vote who you think struts their stuff the best! Each week two new hotties will duke it out in the hopes of making it to the December Showdown, where the winner from each week leading up to that point will then compete to determine who is the sauciest tart of 2010!

Each staff member will bring his own taste in babes to the table, so don’t fret if you don’t like what you see this week, there will be plenty more to come. If you are into classy, fine looking ladies with rockin’ goodies then I will be hooking you up. If you are more the adventurous type and are into fluffy chicks, lazy eyed monsters, or babes sporting lip sweaters then Dustin, Justin and Andrew have you covered. Jake will be handling all the vintage gamer bush babes… JK! We will all be handling vintage gamer bush babes!

[Author’s note] This competition is not meant to be degrading to women in any way shape or form. This is meant to be a good-hearted competition celebrating the beautiful ladies of the gaming industry.

Miranda Lawson Vs. Yvonne Strahovski

Today we seek to answer the age-old question: can a virtual rendering of an already smoking hottie be more bodacious than the babe she is modeled after? Miranda Lawson, perhaps the hottest Mass Effect 2 squeeze, is proving (IMO) that the answer to that question is emphatically yes. Let’s jump right in.

What’s Hot

Ass Effect - Check out the Dumper on this one!!! In all my twenty-some-odd years of gaming I have never seen a more lusciously coded turd holster. Seriously, this thing is bountiful; you know what I’m talking about. In fact, Miranda’s bum plays just as big a role in Mass Effect as her entire character does. If you have played the game you know what I’m sezzin. Camera angles were implemented to highlight perhaps her greatest asset and it paid huge dividends in terms of emphasizing how important her physical attributes are to her character’s psyche (read: directors were just big perverts trying to appeal to other perverts playing the game. But I for one will NOT hold that against them. Well done sirs!).

Battle Tested - In addition to being well endowed both assively and in other regions (tatties!), she also knows how to handle her guns. Homegirl saved my ass on more than one occasion, most of the time because I got caught staring…but STILL, Miranda had my back. Every hot gamer babe knows how to handle herself in battle and Miranda is no exception. She has the skills and the garb to get the job done. That skintight onesie never looked so good, or so right… I’m sure it also has some practical use like…ummm…it’s aerodynamic? Maybe? Who cares, it’s hot and flattering in all the right ways, and that’s all that matters. And just for the record, everyone knows women wear hot lingerie under their fight gear, while attempting to save the entire galaxy, it’s just more comfortable.

What’s Not

Love Hurts - I like a strong willed woman, but Miranda may be just a little too much to handle. I’m not talking so much about her powerful presence as a natural leader, but more her biotic power. I’m not the kind of person who typically sits around and thinks about shacking up with virtual broads, but methinks her biotic power could cause some serious hiccups in such a situation. I imagine it would be like making woopie with a vampire, it could be terribly awesome, or you could end up terribly dead. Either way, I’m not sure I’d be willing to find out…hypothetically speaking, of course.

What’s Hot

Leggy Blonde - I have a soft spot in my heart, and harder spots in other areas, for blondes. Don’t know what it is, but you fellas can sympathize with this. Some of us are all about the Nette’s, some like the Red’s, it’s just a matter of preference as they say. But Yvonne makes it difficult to see any color other than Blonde. She may not be as well endowed as her virtual counterpart, but I am not so shallow as to not be able to find beauty in other things, like those long legs and piercing blue eyes. Absolutely gorgeous, her personality probably isn’t half bad either. Plus, she is fleshy, not virtual, so there is always that to take into consideration.

Her name ends in ski - This honestly has nothing to do with her looks, I just like words that end in –ski. Like broadski, brewski, broski; It’s definitely just my inner nerdbro, but she still gets brownie points for having a sweet last nameski.

What’s not

Don’t make me Chuck-le - If you thought Yvonne looks familiar, and not just from her virtual rendering, you probably recognize her as Sarah Walker from NBC’s Chuck. Again, this has nothing really to do with her looks, but Chuck sucks. Sucks hard, IMO. It’s just one of those shows and she is just one of those characters that always annoyed me. Sorry miss Blondey Blonde, but you lose some hot points in my book for being on a noob status show. Also, you may not notice it from the TV show, but her Australian accent is kind of irksome. It didn’t bother me so much in Mass Effect 2, but after watching an interview with her, I realized how bothersome it is. I’m also not a big fan of babes who plaster on the make up, I understand it’s for TV and all that jazz, but it’s also a huge farce, let see how hot you really are without it.

The Verdict

My vote, dear readers, goes to Miranda “Dat Ass” Lawson. Even though she is the virtual reincarnation of an arguably even hotter real life specimen, she’s still got the digs to make a nerd’s heart throb. Plus when you are a hot gamer babe, or I suppose hot virtual babe in general, you end up with sexy cosplay lookalikes like this. Who gets your vote this week MMOMFG fans?
