Sony Motion Controller gets genericly named; provokes Gods

Despite the wishes around the MMOMFG offices, Sony will not be naming the sub-portion of the Sony Motion Controller, Move, the Dildo Stick. Sad times, indeed, but alas, we must move on. However, the fark-brains over at Sony have worked their creative magic and lamely named the hand-held portion of the Move, the “Navigation Controller.” Oh mighty naming Gods of the future, please do not strike down our planet for this disrespectful choice in naming of a gaming item. It was Sony, not the rest of us.

Any name would have been better: Pleasure Stick, Knob on a Stick, Sir Touch-A-Lot, or even Sony’s Stiffy. How did one of these not make it through to the final stage of production? Oh well. Enjoy your boring name, Sony, I know we won’t! Submission to the FCC made it abundantly clear what Sony would be coining for the device’s name, as Engadget reported earlier today. Also, I realize genericly is not a word. I was so driven to such boredom by Sony’s naming efforts, that I lost my sense of reality and used a fake word for this post. Sue me, you robots!
