Easier to swallow Xbox Live Microsoft Point purchases available

Happy Friday, Jive turkeys! Thank the queens of Olympus that this week is finally coming to a close! As for exciting weekend gaming news, at some point this week, Microsoft reduced the size that Microsoft Points are bundled. Down from the typical 500 point increment, gamers can now get their point dosage in an easier to swallow 400 point increment levels. I guess I’ll be buying more FIFA 10 Ultimate Team packs now, since it is easier to accept the charge for 4000 points compared to 5000.

Who am I kidding, though, Microsoft basically owns my credit card anyways. Luckily, with the reduced Point bundles, players can avoid those typical left-over point numbers and won’t be so inclined to buy that new (crappy) theme just to fix your balance. The tip came in from Kotaku this afternoon, thanks! I’ve been too busy to check costs this week, as I recently purchased the 5000 pack. Damn you, MSFT!
