Alan Wake European Release Moved Up

More good news from Microsoft this week according to Kotaku, they announced that Alan Wake’s European release date has been pushed forward. That’s a good thing; it’s now slated to be released on May 14^th in Europe. Meanwhile the release date for North America still remains May 18^th.

It is rare to see a games release date being moved up, hopefully this is a good sign that Alan Wake will bring some “heavy” competition to the exclusive PlayStation smash, Heavy Rain. I don’t know which game will be better yet (although they aren’t exactly similar genres), but when both consoles compete with system exclusive titles, one of them is usually more kickass and I hope it’s Alan Wake because I have an Xbox.
