Skate 3 Demo on April 15th
The long wait is almost over for Skate 3. Even though it won’t be released until May 11th, EA is releasing a demo on April 15th. The Skate 3 demo will be available for download on both Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation network. The demo will show off the new University District within the skater’s paradise of Port Carverton. Both single player and multiplayer will be available for play with the following challenges: Domination, Own the Lot, and the bone-crushing Hall of Meat. I’m not a skateboarding game fan but the Hall of Meat challenge looks pretty damn sweet. Who doesn’t want to break as many bones as possible for fun in a virtual world.
Also available in the demo will be the all-new Skate.School where Coach Frank will help teach you the moves and grooves of skateboarding. The brand new object dropper will also be on display. You will be allowed to add up to 24 different objects to tweak the University District in order to customize your experience and once you get that sweet trick nailed down you can create your own replay and upload it to the popular Skate.Reel.
Overall the game looks pretty sweet, but I think I’m going to pass on it because I’m not an emo goth sad boy. Others will enjoy the game so make sure to download the demo on April 15th.
