Bizarre Creations announcement coming soon?

Bizarre Creations makes some pretty good games. The Project Gotham Racing series was definitely a great franchise. Geometry Wars 1, a good game indeed. Geometry Wars 2, an even better game (as my fiance can attest to). And Blur, looks to be shaping up to be one hell of a good game.

So what else are they up to? Well, when we received an email from them announcing that Geometry Wars 2 is getting a %50 price reduction (400 points) for next week starting Monday April 5th, I became a bit interested. Why reduce the price of a game that’s been out for almost two years? My only guess could be to pave the way for Geometry Wars 3 of course!

When I emailed to find out information I was only given a “We will have something to talk about soon – but it might not be what you expect.” Well, I was expecting Geometry Wars 3…so if it’s not that, what else could it be? A Blur announcement? A new IP? The cake is in fact, not a lie? Perhaps Geometry Wars on other consoles? Your guess is as good as mine. The only thing I’m sure of is to expect an announcement sooner rather than later.
