BioWare Milking The Clock

BioWare has been dominating headlines lately, as well as most of your free time. Thank goodness for all you fans out there, and much to the chagrin of those college essays, they don’t show any sign of slowing down. Earlier today a mysterious countdown clock appeared on the respective homepages of BioWare, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect 2. A countdown to what, you might ask? Good question, I would answer.

An announcement of some sort seems the logical line of reasoning, and it appears BioWare has taken a page out of the ol’ Valve hype book; Let’s give them an ambiguous clue and watch as they writhe with speculation Mwahaha! It seems marketers have gamers’ number as of late. So what could the announcement be? A Dragon Age sequel announcement? More DLC? A Mass Effect 2 Expansion? I’m getting goose pimples just thinking about the possibilities! Goose pimples? Really? That’s a little too gay for my manly stature, but you catch my drift.  I am personally hoping for an unholy crossover; just imagine, Shepard and his band of alien misfits taking on the Dark Spawn, though I don’t think the plains of Dragon Age are quite vast enough to pamper Shepard’s ego.
