Best buddies give out StarCraft II beta invites, right?

StarCraft 2 Beta Friend Invites

BFFs normally don’t have a way of truly showing their bro-love or sister-sisterage, but thanks to Blizzard, you can dish out love in the form of a StarCraft II beta invite. If you are one of the lucky bastards people who got a SC2 beta key already, you may just be on the receiving end of an Invite a Friend pass straight from the kind hearts of Blizzard. Now you’ll know which friends care about you most when beta invites get passed around more than sexting pics at your local high school.

These keys have a one-time use, which is likely to help Blizzard continue testing their recent updates to Battle.net. The efforts will lead to “palling around” in game and ensure successful beta testing for both the game and the “Real ID” feature for Battle.net. If you want to make more friends (or some quick cash on Ebay), holler at your friends (or enemies) and see who is paying top dollar to get in the StarCraft 2 beta. You never know, you might just make some new frenemies. Got one; want one? Let us know, people!

sigh, this is frustrating news. I’ve been waiting for the SC2 beta for as long as I can remember, but the fact that they’re giving out so many add-a-friend keys means they’ll probably give out less opt-in keys. Wish I had friends who played SC2 =\
