GTA: Episodes Delayed on PlayStation, PC, Thanks Sony Europe
At the Queen’s request, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City’s release has been delayed on PlayStation 3 and PC consoles for minor changes. At her Majesty’s request you will notice some subtle differences next time you visit your local pub in liberty city. For example, instead of getting completely pissed on your favorite trashy American beer Butt-wiper (Budweiser) or Butt-wiper lite, you can now enjoy a fine English Ale. If you are feeling adventurous you can even try the Queen’s Tea and “Special” Biscuits. She may be in her twilight years but the Queen rolls hard and those Biscuits will knock you on your ass. Other changes include your favorite Liberty City hot dog vendors being replaced by an oh so tasty fish and chips crew. You can think you’re healthy by eating fish and feel fancy by calling your fries chips! Neat!
So obviously the aforementioned details aren’t the minor changes being made, but nonetheless minor modifications have been called for by Sony Europe according to Kotaku. The delay is pushing the PlayStation3 and PC release of Episodes about two weeks. Whatever these subtle changes may be Rockstar is assuring fans that “the minor changes made to the game will not affect the gamers enjoyment of the games, these will not affect any game play elements and were not related to any local ratings requirements.”
The new release date for PlayStation3 and PC is April 13 for NA and April 16 for all other countries.
