Microsoft/Remedy Games have released a few more Alan Wake screenshots to keep us calm until the games release date on May 18th (US). With a slew of action titles that have been hitting the shelves this first quarter, it’ll be nice to settle down and play a suspenseful game. Maybe, just maybe, this title can quench my survival horror thirst.

As you can see, the developers have gone to great lengths to create realistic lighting, beautiful backdrops, a convincing and dark atmosphere, and of course….pirates.

I’ve always said, if you’re going to make a good game, you better bring the eye patches and grog. If not, you’re just wasting everyone’s time.
