Dragon Age: New Level Cap Aids Fight Against Darkspawn

Those of you who have been scouring the plains of Dragon Age: Origins for side missions in anticipation of next week’s expansion release will be glad to know that your Grey Warden will be able to expand his or her arsenal, including a new Level Cap. The original cap was set at 20, but with the return of the new and improved Darkspawn, many, including my lady friend, will be glad to find they will be able to reach a far superior Grey Warden role at 35.

We are looking forward to the expansion of DA and the new land and adventures that will come along with it. The $40 price tag that’s being slapped on the Awakening expansion hints that you will a get a much deeper look into the world of Dragon Age and a considerably longer quest compared to any form of DLC, but no official word on how much playtime to expect. The way BioWare has been handling things these days, expect them to deliver in a big way. Don’t be too jealous Mass Effect fans.

Look for the Darkspawn to flood your PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 next week.

    Is Awakening’s launch actually imploding rather than exploding? Check out the fanbase disappointment and dissatisfaction (ahead of the official launch) surrounding the necessary patch to play the $35.00 Awakenings:

    @Joe: Joe, we’re checking this out. As mentioned in the previous DLC review we did here, the patch broke a lot of people’s games and downloads. We’re checking the stats on this Awakening patch, as it would blow if saved files got wiped.
