EA busts through with new screens of MMA Title

They might be a little late to the sport, but EA hopes to steal plenty of fans from THQ’s UFC title for their own MMA game.

From the look of these screenshots though, I’m not so sure they’re going to do it on looks alone. They just don’t seem polished as of yet, and while I know screenshots can’t do a game full justice, I have to say I’m a little disappointed. With a company that’s brought such realistic looking titles like Fight Night, I guess I was just expecting a bit more. The cuts and bruises look just fine, but the overall body textures look a bit unpolished. Where’s that typical EA sweat I’m used to seeing?

Obviously the fat lady hasn’t sung just yet so stayed tuned for a more screens and news throughout the year.

EA Sports MMA is said to come out in 2010. It’ll be interesting to see which MMA game comes out the winner.
