Substantial DLC coming to Mass Effect 2
Tired of hearing about Mass Effect 2 DLC? Of course you’re not! BioWare has the hook-up again and are bringing all you ME addicts your fix. IGN brings us this juicy tid-bit straight out of GDC 10. Unlike previous ME2 downloads, this one appears to be substantial in comparison. As a result, you won’t be able to use all those fancy inter-galactic credits you have saved up, nor will the Cerberus Network get you the dealer discount of free. No sir, these goodies will cost you some real moneys. Blasphemy indeed. But, all good things must come to an end.
It sounds like the new DLC will be similar in style to that of Zaeed. You will be introduced to a new character, Kasumi, and the mission that follows will revolve around gaining her loyalty. A shiny new weapon is promised as well. I’m hoping for a new sniper-rifle, but more than likely it will be something suited to Kasumi’s character. After gaining her loyalty, this cloaking minx will join your crew and you will be able to access her on your ship, once again in similar fashion to Zaeed in terms of interaction. So keep your pants on fellas, there will be no hanky panky here.
The new DLC is dated to hit Xbox 360 and PC April 6. No word yet on price, but as soon as it’s announced one of the boy geniuses here at MMOMFG will bring you an update.
