Fable III: Butler adds Monty Python flair courtesy of John Cleese

Of the many changes coming to Fable III, one of the more intriguing ones is the start menu. Kotaku reported that Lionhead Studios will be axing the old 2D menu completely for an advanced 3D environment, to help drive players to use more of the available features. Peter Molyneux previously stated how more than half of the features in the earlier Fable titles were not being fully utilized by the players.

A few of these additions will include a 3D view of the world map, clothing options that feel like you’re “wandering through one’s virtual closet chamber,” and having a butler help guide your way. The always funny John Cleese from Monty Python will be lending his voice as the butler, who will be at your service within the start menu. Lionhead Studios is hoping the addition of the butler within the revamped menu system will entice players to take advantage of every feature to come in Fable III.
