Valve/Portal/Steam Update

Okay boys and girls, this is going to be short and sweet, because I don’t know about you but I am about ready to give this weekend a proper kickoff. As promised, we wanted to keep you updated with the latest Valve/Portal/Steam news. The anticipated sequel to Portal was announced earlier today, and now some new details are surfacing. For example, it will be coming to PC (obviously) as well as Xbox 360 and will in fact be its own game (Portal 2) hitting stores this holiday season (tentatively). You will also be able to dive into a co-op multiplayer campaign, which sounds exhilarating in and of itself.

On a steam related note, “Valve’s VP of marketing, Doug Lombardi, shared confirmation of the platform hop with MacNN.com but apparently didn’t share an official comment or a release date.” Just in case you have been tipping a few drinks and need me to translate, Steam is coming to Mac!!! (Insert fist pump here). I’m obviously pumped for this, and can’t wait to get more info on what titles they plan on bringing to the Mac scene.
